Frame of the Week: Scene 12: Larry Strong as King Edric
I realize it’s been a while since I’ve posted and I apologize. My attention has been pulled in many directions lately and as a result, post production has slowed down a bit. It’s now picking up again and some cool things have been happening.
I’ve completed some of the first shots using the alien city (see frame of the week). I hope to finish all city shots from the windows by the end of the week. The big sweeping establishing shots will of course take a lot longer.
Also new, from a distant relative of mine, is the Kayloran font! This font was created by Russ Hannula specifically for Vital Force. The holograms behind King Edric in the frame above contain the font. I now have to go back and re-render out a few shots with Kayloran holograms to reflect the font., fun stuff.
This coming Saturday will be our first ADR session with Ed Walker. Scheduling ADR has proven to be quite a challenge but things are progressing.
