Big Guns and No Power
Frame of the Week:
Scene 22, Josh Truax as Asa
I figure I have about two solid 12 hour work days before I’m finished with the visual effects that my skill set will allow. After that, I’ll have to bring in the “big guns” to finish out the remaining effects.
Work last week progressed very smoothly, until Friday when the power went out. My external hard drive, that contains the entirety of the film, returned to life with an obnoxious buzzing noise when the power came back. The drive works fine, I think the fan inside is just hitting the casing. I am waiting on the arrival of a backup drive before I take the primary drive apart to fix it. That means work on the film is tabled until the drive arrives. This is probably just as well since I have to get a part time job this week anyway, sad.
